Wimborne Minster’s annual charity duck race will mark its 25th year this Saturday.
The 24th Wimborne Duck Race, held to raise funds for Wimborne in Bloom, collected £1,800 on Saturday 24 August.
The 24th annual Duck Race will be held this weekend, with hundreds of rubber ducks being launched into Wimborne’s River Allen.
The 22nd event in Wimborne in Bloom’s 30th anniversary year raised funds which will go towards autumn planting in the town.

‘Duck’ tickets at £1 each will be on sale outside the Co-Op store in Crown Mead and outside Waitrose in Willow Walk.
For the past 20 years, Wimborne in Bloom has held a duck race on the August Bank Holiday Saturday, but sadly this year’s event scheduled for 29 August has had to be cancelled.
