Dorset Council’s Charging Ahead Programme will concentrate on getting charge points into Dorset’s more rural areas.
The first 16 of 130 new charge points have been installed in car parks in Poole, Bournemouth and Boscombe.
Work is underway to install new car charging points in locations from Ferndown to Lyme Regis and Sherborne to Swanage.
