Organisations can now apply for funding from the Love the Forest scheme, which is run by the New Forest Trust.

Dorset Community Foundation’s Surviving Winter appeal has seen applications soar by four-and-a half-times compared to the same period in 2021.

The Neighbourhood Fund, The DCF Bursary Scheme & STEM Bursary and the South West Enterprise Fund are providing funding.

The deadline for applying for funding from the Trust is 31 January with the trustees meeting in the spring.

Funding is available for sports, arts or heritage projects in the Dorset Council area, with the deadline for applications being 9 January.

Applications are invited to the BCP Food and Warmth Support Fund which is administered by Dorset Community Foundation.

Applications for grants from Dorset Council are invited for youth projects with the closing date being 16 November.

In Jolly Good Company in Wimborne received funding in a previous round and applications are now invited for Round 4.

The Dorset Community Foundation is working with Citizens Advice on this year’s appeal to distribute £200 to those in need.

Project funding is available from Dorset Council to support projects and events that make a difference to people living in our communities.
