Organisations that support the needs of vulnerable people in the community are invited to apply for grants of between £5,000 and £10,000.

A further grant of £650,000 from The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities will help those abused in Dorset.

Dorset Council’s Community Recovery Grants scheme has awarded funds amounting to £95,000 to 68 organisations.

A grant of £3,000 has been donated to Home-Start South East Dorset from Care South’s Chairman’s 2020 Fund.

As part of an initiative to persuade employees to walk, cycle or run to work, businesses are invited to apply for grants for facilities.

Food waste will be collected from businesses along the Bournemouth coastal area and turned into top quality compost.

CoCreate Dorset has been awarded almost £5,000 from Dorset Community Foundation’s Living Legacy Fund to provide healthy social activities.

The Nature, Art and Wellbeing Community Fund, which has now opened, will provide grants to a variety of groups.

Capital grants of up to £25,000 are available from the Capital Leverage Fund to community and cultural organisations.

A total of 19 groups have received funding to enable them to supply food to vulnerable groups in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
