A total of 19 groups have received funding to enable them to supply food to vulnerable groups in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

Round 3 of Dorset Council’s Youth Fund has now opened and applications for projects which meet the criteria are invited.

The deadline for applications is Friday 7 January, and organisations can apply on the Dorset Council website.

If you live in Bournemouth, Christchurch or Poole and you have an energy performance rating of E, F or G you may qualify.

A total of 22 groups in Dorset have shared funding of almost £100,000 from Dorset Community Foundation’s new Living Legacy Fund.

Talbot Village Trust has formed a partnership with Dorset Community Foundation to establish the fund to benefit Dorset organisations.

People who are unable to afford food, energy and water bills are to be able to access financial support this winter.

Groups which provide a service to Care South’s homes and clients are invited to apply for funding with the deadline 29 October.
