A former Dorset Police officer committed gross misconduct when he tried to enter an unwanted relationship with a junior officer.
Following the announcement, Scott Chilton said he is stepping down from his role as Chief Constable of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary.
The former Dorset police officer who is already in jail for fraud has now also been found guilty of gross misconduct.
