Closed in March 2017 due to safety concerns, the Highcliffe Castle zig-zag path could be reopen by Easter 2019 after members of Christchurch Borough Council have reviewed their original decision not to rebuild it.
Christchurch Borough Council members are being asked to decide if they wish to proceed with the reconstruction of the Highcliffe Castle zig-zag path following new costings.
Highcliffe Castle aims to showcase local talent by playing host to the first ever Highcliffe’s Got Talent event, to be held on Sunday 6 August.
The zigzag path at Highcliffe Castle is to remain closed until 2018 for a full rebuild as temporary solution is deemed insufficient.
Later this month horsepower will beat tractor-power when it comes to extracting dead trees from the grounds of Highcliffe Castle – horses cause less disturbance to the woodland floor and can get through narrower gaps.
