Pupils from Pamphill First School enjoyed the chance to help harvest this year’s crop of fruit at Kingston Lacy.
The school in Broadstone joins Initio Learning Trust which is now responsible for 18 schools in the South West.
As well as the chance to visit 19 gardens, visitors were able to enjoy the fairy trail at Witchampton Church of England First School.
QE Leisure Centre in Wimborne will no longer operate as a public leisure centre from the end of March.
