The coastline will be enhanced by art installations financed through the UK Government’s Levelling-Up Fund.

A voluntary club helping to develop lifeguarding will be leasing a purpose-built centre on Bournemouth’s seafront as its new headquarters.

Businesses, community groups and organisations in Dorset are invited to apply for funding as part of the UK Government’s Levelling Up agenda.

Thanks to government funding, a total of £19.9m will now be spent on improving the seafront in Bournemouth and Poole.

The government’s Levelling Up funding will enable BCP Council’s Big Plan to create a world-class seafront.

BCP Council was one of the UK’s first local authorities to create a dedicated lead member role for Levelling Up.
