Cash strapped BCP Council is to continue to fund a number of events but requires business support for some others.

Running from 25 November to 2 January, the free show will light up a display from Poole town to the Quay.

The Christmas Tree Wonderland and the Maritime Light Festival drew millions to the area over the festive period.

The new Christmas Maritime Light Festival will run from Saturday 19 November – Monday 2 January celebrating the town’s maritime heritage.
