Poole lifeboats were launched to attend two very different incidents in two days as the winds freshened creating difficult conditions.
Poole’s inshore lifeboat was out and about on the water on Bank Holiday Sunday (30 August).
Both Poole lifeboats were launched just after 3.30pm on 21 June to a report that a 24-foot yacht was pinned against the chain ferry that carries passengers and vehicles across the entrance to Poole Harbour.
