The works will be taking place from 7pm to 6am for the next four weeks from Poole Civic Centre to Ashley Cross.
People wanting to use Ringwood Road overnight on Friday 25 March will have to use another route to get to and from Ferndown due to a road closure.
There will be phased road closures along the A35 between Boscombe and Pokesdown to enable the resurfacing work to take place.
The busy four-way junction where the road intersects with Hunt Road and St Mary’s Road is to be improved.
The five-night road closure on Leigh Road/Wimborne Road West is to allow for resurfacing work to be carried out.
