Works starts on 31 March to construct new walking and cycling paths, crossings and street lighting improvements.
Footways will be widened, and a parallel crossing and reduced speed limit will be introduced on the road off the A35 near the country park.
Work starts on Ringwood Road on 2 September to implement bus, walking, cycling, road improvements and resurfacing.
The road will be closed between the junction of Glenferness Avenue and Leven Avenue from 8-12 July and traffic delays are expected.
Resurfacing works will close parts of Holdenhurst Road next week as second phase of a £2 million highways maintenance programme begins.
Work beginning on Wimborne Road East from Stanfield Road to Brickyard Lane in Ferndown will result in traffic delays.
The works will take around six weeks, so motorists will need to leave extra time for their journeys or to find another route.
Works will take place from 20 May and last for 20 weeks, during which time there will be a number of road closures.
Work to inspect, upgrade and repair Sopley Bridge in Christchurch is set to be carried out by BCP Council next week.
