To tie in with new cycle routes, work is to begin at the end of May to upgrade pedestrian facilities along Rigler Road.

BCP Council warns that traffic delays will be inevitable when work begins on the green travel route on Monday 16 May.

Motorists will have to allow extra time for journeys when work begins on new cycle paths between Denmark Lane and the New Inn junction in May.

Allow extra time for your journey as the Mannings Heath roundabout in Poole will be closed for five days from 25 April.

There will be phased road closures along the A35 between Boscombe and Pokesdown to enable the resurfacing work to take place.

There is an upgraded junction layout and new pedestrian crossings, controlled by a new set of re-phased traffic lights.

Motorists should expect delays as there will be lane closures and diversions as work begins on putting in more cycleways.

The busy four-way junction where the road intersects with Hunt Road and St Mary’s Road is to be improved.

Motorists travelling between Canford Bottom roundabout and Ferndown will have to be prepared for traffic delays from March.

Works are now complete on Queen Anne Drive, with the next phase to provide a safe travel route to Bear Cross Roundabout now underway.
