A stretch of the road will be closed overnight on Tuesday 14, Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 December, with diversions in pace.

Works in the area are to take place from 29 November to 11 March with a certain amount of delay to traffic flow anticipated.

The road is to be resurfaced following the work on the provision of cycle and pedestrian lanes over the past months.

Dorset Council warns that there will be traffic delays and motorists are asked to find an alternative route where possible.

There will be a number of road closures during this latest phase of improvements to the Wallisdown corridor.
