There will be a number of road closures during this latest phase of improvements to the Wallisdown corridor.
Dorset council ecologists and the Environment Agency are working together to ensure road repairs support Dorset’s diverse wildlife.
The works, which start on 17 May and will last until the autumn, will see a number of measures including re-routing of traffic.
Resurfacing works to Charminster Road in Bournemouth are due to take place from 6 April, and will take 12 days to complete.
Boundary Roundabout will be closed from Monday 29 March to Friday 2 April in all directions from 7pm to 7am.
There will be virtual ‘meet the team’ events where you can find out more about the improvement works taking place on the A31.
You will need to allow more time for your journey if you had planned to use Ashley Road in Parkstone next week.
Road closures will take place between Sunday 31 January and Friday 5 February in order for the work to take place.
Wet weather has caused the drains to overflow in Stone Lane, Wimborne, damaging the road, necessitating major works over a 10-week period.
