St Mungo’s is looking after people living on the street who are at high risk of becoming unwell during very hot weather.
Very often homeless or rough sleeping people end up being re-admitted to hospital once they are discharged.
The HealthBus Trust has recently received a donation of £31,500 to help fund the purchase of a new mobile clinic.
In March 2020 there were 370 rough sleepers in the area, but that has now decreased to 13, the lowest for 10 years.
