Additional energy saving solar panels are to be installed at both Poole Hospital and the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
The solar project, which is at the 66-hectare Parley Court Solar Farm site in Christchurch, will be the Enviromena company’s largest to date.
Plans to build more than 12,000 solar panels on a site the size of nearly 14 football pitches in the New Forest National Park have been refused.
