The works on the last section of the roads will begin on 16 August and motorists are warned to allow more time for travel.
Works to construct a green travel route from Gravel Hill to Bear Cross start this month and will last more than a year.
The first section of the new cycle and pedestrian lanes are now open and further extensions are to follow.
A short section of Harewood Avenue in Bournemouth will be temporarily closed between 26 July to 27 August 2021.
A total of 20 totems have been installed providing information about the town as well as easy to read maps and directions to places of interest.
Works will start in late July to link Bournemouth and Christchurch with pathways and end in autumn next year.
The MP for Mid Dorset and North Poole was able to see the works that have taken place in Wimborne’s Leigh Road and Wimborne Road West.
A total of 21 schools in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area are to receive grants to encourage pupils to walk or cycle to school.
The green travel routes proposed connect Wimborne and Ferndown with Poole town centre and Merley to Christchurch.
