Residents have complained about missed bin collections, but it appears that things are improving each week.

BCP Council is ‘dreaming of a green Christmas’ and hopes residents will reduce, re-use and recycle as well as noting changes in bin collection days.

These quieter vehicles should make the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area cleaner, greener and safer.

This year, because of when Christmas falls, bin collections will be on their usual day, but Dorset Council has some advice.
