The Bees’ Needs Champions Award was presented to Wilding Wimborne at RHS Wisley’s Bees’ Needs Science Festival.

Wilding Wimborne, which has a number of initiatives, now has funding of £1,500 for further projects including creating homes for small mammals.

Planet Wimborne, together with other community green groups, welcomed people to their stands during the Wimborne Minster Folk Festival.

Wimborne is one of six towns to have been awarded Bee Friendly Town status by the Bee Friendly Trust.
