British historian Ronald Hutton will give a talk at the Museum of East Dorset to coincide with the Wimborne Militia’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
In addition to three historical talks, the English Civil War Society will re-enact the Battle of Wimborne.
Hundreds of people gathered in Wimborne to hear the proclamation of the accession of King Charles III to the throne.
