Wimborne Model Town is hosting a Railway Weekend running from 30 April to 2 May featuring all manner of train attractions.

Switch on to Susan Calman’s Grand Day Out on Channel 5 at 8pm this Friday 4 March and you will see the model town.

If you know anything about this gold coloured cross discovered more than 30 years ago Wimborne Model Town would like to hear from you.

To mark the 70th anniversary season of the charity attraction, a 100th scale Model of the Model is being created.

Following the very successful Wimborne Bear Day at the beginning of October, the results of the competitions have been announced.

A teddy bear’s day out at Wimborne Model Town on 3 October was a huge success attracting teddies of all shapes and sizes along with their owners.

Wimborne Model Town is hosting events for Wimborne Bear Day including storytelling and a Bear Hunt quiz.

There is free admission for children at Wimborne Model Town for the first ever Wimborne Bear Day on 3 October.

Visitors were able to enjoy a day out at the attraction, with trailer rides, vintage vehicles and music from Retro Rita.

BBC1’s Antiques Road Trip visited the vintage charity attraction earlier this year and the episode will be screened on 15 September.
