Take part in New Forest survey
This is your chance to have your say on plans for the New Forest including its recovery and what you would like to see in the future.
The New Forest National Park Authority is inviting people to take part in a survey which will help to formulate the next Partnership Plan.
The authority said that its remit was to ensure the New Forest is protected, that people have opportunities to learn about it and enjoy the outdoors, and that the local communities prosper.
It commented that as well as dealing with the pandemic it faces the challenges of nature and climate emergencies.
However, people have been discovering and enjoying outdoor spaces, many for the first time, with unprecedented numbers coming to the New Forest.
The authority would like to hear about some of your experiences over the last few months, how it can help the Forest to recover and what you would like to see in the future.
The survey should take around five minutes to complete and closes midnight on Friday 22 January 2021. Visit www.newforestnpa.gov.uk/NFsnapshotsurvey to have your say.
The Partnership Plan is produced jointly by all the main organisations with interests and responsibilities in the National Park, including: Environment Agency, Forestry England Hampshire, County Council Natural England, New Forest District Council, New Forest National Park Authority, Test Valley Borough Council, Verderers of the New Forest and Wiltshire Council.
