Teenage e-biker seriously injured in Poole collision
Anyone who captured relevant dashcam footage or who witnessed this collision near the Shah of Persia pub should contact police.
A teenager riding an electric-powered bicycle received very serious injuries when he was involved in a collision in Longfleet Road near the Shah of Persia pub on Wednesday 18 June.
Dorset Police received a report at 10.17pm of a collision involving a silver Volkswagen Golf and the e-bike.
Emergency services attended and the cyclist – a teenage boy – was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are believed to be life-threatening.
Police Sergeant Mike Burt, of the Serious Injury Collision Investigation Team, said: “We are carrying out a full investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
“I would urge any witnesses to the incident, or the manner of both the driver and the cyclist prior to the collision, to please make contact with us.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have captured relevant dashcam footage.”
