Teenager arrested following assault in Bournemouth
Police believe that other people could also have been assaulted and so they are appealing for witnesses to this incident.
Following the assault of a man in Charminster, a 17-year-old boy from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of assault by beating and affray. He has been released on police bail as the investigation continues.
Dorset Police received a report at around 2am on Sunday 7 September of the incident near to Golden Supermarket in Charminster Road.
A man in his 40s sustained minor injuries to his face and arms.
Police Constable Mohi Uddin, of Bournemouth Police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to please get in touch.
“From our initial enquiries, we believe there may have been other people who were reportedly assaulted and we would ask them to please come forward so we can take their account.”
