Teenager assaulted in Fordingbridge

A 15-year-old boy was targeted by a group of teenagers in Fordingbridge on 31 May between 1.30pm and 2.15pm.
It is reported that the boy was verbally threatened by a group of teenagers beside a set of benches on Round Hill, just outside of the Salvation Army building
The same boy was allegedly assaulted outside of Tesco Express on Salisbury Street too by the same group of young people between 1.30pm and 2pm.
He was further assaulted at the Fordingbridge Recreational Ground at around 2.15pm – behind the club house – and was kicked and punched multiple times.
As part of police enquiries, two 16 year old boys from Fordingbridge were arrested on suspicion of assault. They have since been released on conditional bail until Tuesday 28 June.
Police are continuing to carry out enquiries in the local area in relation to these incidents.
