Teenager bailed following reported sexual assault in Bournemouth
If you were in Redhill Park at around 6.15pm on Friday 11 February and witnessed this incident you are asked to contact the police.
A 19-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested, and subsequently released on police bail, following a report of a sexual assault at around 6.15pm on Friday 11 February at Redhill Park.
It was reported that the victim, an 18-year-old woman, was with a man who was known to her at the playpark when she was sexually assaulted by him.
Detective Constable Emma Jeffries, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We are continuing to carry out a detailed investigation into this matter and the victim is being supported by specially-trained officers.
“I am appealing for anyone with information that might assist our investigation to please come forward. I am particularly keen to speak to a woman who was seen to walk past the playpark at the time of this incident, as she may have important information that will assist our enquiries.”
