Teenager charged in connection with Bournemouth stabbing
A teenage boy has been charged in connection with a stabbing incident outside a Bournemouth shop.
A stabbing incident occurred outside ANJ Off Licence in St Michael’s Road after an argument broke out between two men and a member of staff. The incident was reported at 11.43pm on 30 October 2016.
It’s alleged one man produced a knife and threatened a member of staff. The victim is said to have wrestled the knife off the man and it fell on the ground. It was picked up by the second man who stabbed the victim in the back.
The victim from Poole – aged in his late teens – sustained a stab wound. He made a full recovery.
In December, 24-year-old Sadiq Gure of Frensham Drive in New Addington, London, was jailed for six years for wounding with intent and possessing a knife in a public place.
A CCTV appeal to establish the identity of the second man was published on BBC’s Crimewatch earlier this month.
A 17-year-old boy from Hertford has been charged with affray and threatening a person with a bladed article in a public place and is due to appear at Poole Youth Court on Tuesday 4 April 2017.
