Teenager dies in Wareham collision
Any witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage are urged to contact the police, who are carrying out a detailed investigation.
An 18-year-old passenger in a car driven by a man in his 20s died at the scene of a single-vehicle collision in Morden Road on Wednesday 18 February.
Dorset Police received a report at 8.42pm of the collision involving a black Volvo V70. The driver of the vehicle and a male teenage passenger both sustained serious injuries and have been taken to hospital for treatment.
Road closures were put in place to allow emergency services to safely deal with the incident.
Police Sergeant Josh Alner, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who very sadly died in this collision.
“We are carrying out a detailed investigation to establish the full circumstances of what happened and I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to please get in touch.
“I would like to thank the public for their patience while the road closure was in place, which enabled us to safely examine the scene.”
