Police in Poole are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward following a fail-to-stop collision where a motorcyclist collided with a teenage boy.
The incident happened at around 4.25pm on Thursday 21 January along Methuen Road.
The 13-year-old boy was knocked off his bicycle during the incident. He suffered injuries to his torso, arm and leg, which are not believed to be serious. The motorcycle failed to stop at the scene following the collision.
Police Constable Andrea Grant, of Poole police, said: “The boy was obviously very shaken by the incident and suffered injuries. I am asking anyone who may be able to identify the rider of the motorcycle to get in touch with me on 101.
“I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or manner of driving of the motorcyclist before the incident to contact me.
“I would also appeal directly to the motorcyclist to do the right thing and come forward.”
