Teenager robbed of his e-bike in Poole
Balaclava-clad thieves robbed a boy of his e-bike in North Road on 6 December and police are appealing for witnesses.
A teenage boy was riding an e-bike on North Road at around 10.50pm on Saturday 6 December when a car – believed to be a white Nissan Juke – pulled up alongside him.
He saw three men wearing balaclavas in the car and was then knocked off his bike before the offenders made off with the black Talaria Sting e-bike.
The victim did not sustain any serious injuries.
Police Constable Kurtis Lacount, of Poole police, said: “This must have been a very frightening experience for the young victim and we are carrying out detailed enquiries to identify those involved.
“I would urge any witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our enquiries to please come forward.
“I would also ask motorists with dashcam who may have been in the area around the relevant time, as well as residents with home CCTV or doorbell cameras, to please review their footage to see if they have captured anything that may help our investigation.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police online or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55250179562. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online using its website or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
