Teenager seriously injured after motorbike crash
Police are appealing for information about the driver of a blue Jaguar F-PACE which collided with the 16-year-old motorbike rider.
A teenager was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Christchurch involving his motorbike and another car.
Dorset Police received a report at 6.40pm on Saturday 16 August of the collision, which involved a blue Jaguar F-PACE and a blue motorbike in Barrack Road.
Emergency services attended and the rider of the motorbike, a 16-year-old boy, was taken to hospital with injuries believed to be serious but not life-threatening or life-changing.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following the collision.
Police Constable Lauren Hobkirk, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries as we seek to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I would urge any witnesses to please make contact with us.
“I am also keen to hear from anyone who was driving in the vicinity and may have captured relevant dashcam footage, as well as anyone who saw the manner of driving or riding of the vehicles involved in the moments leading up to the collision.”
