Teenager seriously injured in Poole collision
A 15-year-old local boy was taken to hospital following a collision in Poole and police are appealing for witnesses or any dashcam footage.
A teenage cyclist has been seriously injured in a collision in Poole.
At 11.53am on Friday 20 October a collision took place between the cyclist and a car at the junction of Broom Road and Mannings Heath Road.
Emergency services attended and the 15-year-old local boy was taken to hospital for treatment.
Road closures were put in place as the emergency services responded and for an examination of the collision scene. No arrests were made.
Police Sergeant Mike Burt, of the Dorset Road Safety team, said: “We are conducting a detailed investigation to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I am keen to hear from any witnesses to the incident.
“I would also urge anyone who may have captured any relevant dashcam footage to please contact us.
“Finally, I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding during the road closures as these were necessary to allow the emergency services to respond and for an examination of the scene to be conducted.”
