At around 6.30pm on Tuesday 22 February, a 14-year-old boy was with a friend on Chaseside when they were approached by a group of teenagers. It is reported that the victim was pushed by one of the group and his AirPod headphones were stolen.
The group left the scene and a short time later a man confronted them near to the astro turf pitches at the rear of the sports centre and was allegedly threatened by a member of the group.
The 13-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence.
