Teenagers arrested following Bournemouth stabbing
Although two arrests have been made, Dorset Police are continuing their inquiries and appealing for further information.
Two teenagers were arrested following the stabbing of a man in the Lower Gardens near Bournemouth Pier on Bank Holiday Monday 26 August.
Dorset Police received the report at 6.20pm and subsequently officers and the ambulance service attended. The victim, a local man in his twenties, was taken to hospital with an injury that is not life-threatening.
Following further enquiries, a 17-year-old boy from East Dorset was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and released under investigation.
A 16-year-old boy from Bournemouth was also arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Detective Inspector Chris Bradford, of BCP CID, said: “We have been continuing to carry out a detailed investigation and have now made two arrests.
“I would like to ask anyone with information in relation to this incident that has not already spoken to officers to please contact Dorset Police.”
