Ferndown Mayor Mike Parkes thanks Matt Hill for Haskins support
The Mayor of Ferndown, Cllr Mike Parkes, visited the Haskins Garden Centre at Longham to thank the general manager Matt Hill for supporting central Ferndown traders by sponsoring a Christmas tree on Ringwood Road.
“The council and the chamber of commerce are determined to make the town very welcoming and attractive to shoppers,” said Cllr Parkes. “We welcome the contribution made this year by Haskins, and their ongoing support to the town.”
The Ferndown town centre lights will be officially turned on by Father Christmas at 5pm on Saturday 29 November. Matt Hill says that Haskins is pleased to be able to help brighten up the town and support the hard work of the high street traders.
