The Ivy hosts lavish launch party in Bournemouth
A new Bournemouth restaurant, The Ivy, held an exclusive launch party ahead of opening on 12 November.
The Ivy Brasserie held an exclusive launch party on Thursday 7 November, ahead of officially opening its doors to the public on Tuesday 12 November.
Bournemouth locals and prominent business figures were welcomed into the new venue and treated to food and drinks. The exclusive guest list included TV presenter and interior designer Ceilia Sawyer and Cllr Millie Earl, the leader of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council.
Guests were kept entertained by a DJ, as well as a live performance by vintage trio, The Bluebird Belles. Costumed dancers and a violinist also weaved their way through the assembled crowd.
Located on Bournemouth Square, The Ivy will be able to seat over 200 guests and offers an expansive menu of classic meals and new dishes highlighting local, seasonal ingredients.
General Manager Barnaby Harris-Reid said: “Our launch celebration was a fantastic evening with wonderful guests, entertainment, and a lively ambiance – the perfect way to say hello to the town!
“Bournemouth’s stunning coastline and welcoming community make it the perfect location for our newest restaurant and our team is so excited to welcome guests through our doors next week, treating them to an exceptional experience from the moment they step foot inside.”
With doors officially opening to the public on Tuesday 12 November, The Ivy Brasserie aims to be a premier dining destination for locals and tourists alike. This location is The Ivy Collection’s 42nd restaurant, and it will contribute to Bournemouth’s growing hospitality scene by creating 120 new jobs.
