The Show of Hands Trio looks a little different this autumn
It’s been quite a 12 months for Show of Hands, with their haunting cathedral tour ‘Sanctuary’, sell-out shows at eminent venues like Shakespeare’s Globe and the Cutty Sark, solo tours, duo tours and upcoming album ‘Joint Venture’.

Miranda and husband Dan are embarking on their own adventure with their first baby due in November, and so Cormac Byrne (percussionist of Seth Lakeman Band fame) steps into the breach with his talents to complete the Show of Hands autumn lineup.
Together, Steve and Phil will deliver the festival favourites that fans know and love, with Cormac adding a new twist. They’ll also showcase the results of Steve’s recent songwriting with ‘No Secrets’ ‘Make the right noises’ ‘Battlefield Dance floor’ and ‘Dreckley’ all featuring on the forthcoming studio album.
In keeping with their tradition of spotting and promoting emerging talent (Seth Lakeman, Jackie Oates, Phil Henry & Hannah Martin), they’ll be joined by special guests Alden, Patterson & Dashwood– a striking combination of guitar, fiddle, dobro and voices.
