Police in Bridport are appealing for the public’s help after a theft by finding at a supermarket in the town – with a CCTV image of two suspects being released.
At around 8.30pm on Thursday 25 February 2016, a man bought some items from Morrison’s supermarket in West Bay Road using a self-service checkout.
While at the till the victim – a local man aged in his 30s – requested £50 cashback but he forgot to collect the money from the cash dispenser and left the store.
The money was then collected by two men who were in the area of the self-service check out at the same time as the victim.
Police Constable Alison Gale, of Bridport police, said: “Following my investigation I am now in a position to release a CCTV image of two suspects.
“I would appeal to anyone who recognises these men to please call me on 101.”
