Three men arrested following Bournemouth stabbing

A man who was stabbed following an altercation in St Peter’s Road, Bournemouth was taken to hospital by air ambulance with serious but not life threatening injuries.
Dorset Police received a report at 10.26pm on Wednesday 22 June that a man had sustained a stab wound and subsequently a 21-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of affray. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Following further enquiries, at around 2pm on Friday 24 June in Wimborne Road, a 25-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and a 19-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Detective Inspector Katie Starkie, of Bournemouth CID, said: “A full investigation is underway into this incident and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened to please come forward.
“There will continue to be an increased police presence in the area as the investigation continues and local officers can be approached by members of the public with any information or concerns.”
