Five bulldog cross puppies have been stolen from an address in Moordown. Thieves forced entry to a shed in the rear garden of a house on Lystra Road and made off with the three-week old pups between 10am-10.30am on 4 November.
Police Constable Richard Stroud, of Bournemouth police, said: “This incident has caused the victim great upset and he is extremely keen to get the dogs back.
“The puppies are only three-weeks old and are heavily dependent on their mother, so it is important they are returned. They are white with black patches.
“I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, recalls any suspicious activity in the area during the time, and anyone with information about those responsible to contact me as soon as possible.
“A green Renault Megane car was seen in the area at the time of the burglary, and we are keen for any information on this.
“I also urge anyone who has been offered bulldog cross puppies in strange circumstances or for an unusually low price to report this to Dorset Police.”
