Bournemouth came alive yesterday with a Christmas nativity parade.
Crowds flocked to see majestic camels and wise men, sheep and shepherds, faithful donkeys, Mary and Joseph. When the excitement of the parade was over, children could see the animals in the Square. Baby Jesus was placed in a crib with Mary and Joseph keeping a watchful eye over him.
Late night shopping, market stalls, ice skating and the novel light box display in the Lower Gardens entertained families late into the evening.
