By day they’re smartly dressed professionals with one of Dorset’s leading accountancy firms.
But by night the six-strong team from Princecroft Willis (PcW) have become members of hit 70s pop group, Village People.
Ben Steers, Richard Armstrong, Ryan Laming, Nathan Lake and brothers Tom and Mike O’Sullivan adopted the distinctive personas for a charity ‘Stars in Their Eyes’ evening.
The event, at Ferndown’s Barrington Theatre, raised more than £1,000 for Lewis-Manning Hospice and Wessex Cancer Trust.
Comedian and actress Debra Stephenson hosted the show which featured performances from individuals and groups. Daisy Lapworth, 16, was named winner with her impression of singer Katherine Jenkins.
Mark Johns, PcW’s Managing Partner, said that although the Princecroft Willis team had not won the competition, they had raised some of the biggest cheers of the evening.
“The boys had the audience in stitches and proved a big hit. They were great sports but, despite their spirited performance, I think the advice is probably to not give up the day job,” added Mark.
