Top tips for spring gardening
As the weather warms up, and as we can spend more time with family and friends in our gardens, you may be wondering how to make the best of your outdoor space. You may want to create an inviting and pleasant area to sit in, or you may prefer to grow your own fruit and vegetables.
So you don’t feel overwhelmed by all you could be doing, Stewart’s Garden Centres suggest the things you could be doing in your garden this April:
- Start to feed citrus plants
- Sow garden favourite biennials, as well as annuals
- Feed spring bulbs to encourage greater blooms next year
- Tie in climbing and rambling roses
- Sow greenhouse crops, such as tomatoes
- Increase the water given to plants
