Dozens of Bournemouth children put their best modelling feet forward to raise money for Julia’s House hospice.
Tots to teenagers trod the catwalk for the Koolkidz Fashion Show at the Village Hotel in Bournemouth on 6 April.
There was face painting, stalls, dancing, kids clubs, parties – and even Alice in Wonderland characters made guest appearances to collect money on behalf of Julia’s House, the only children’s hospice charity in Dorset.
Natalie Steele, owner of Bournemouth Day Nursery which sponsored the event, said: “This was a fantastic event, which we hope has raised hundreds of pounds for Julia’s House.”
Some of the youngest models came from Natalie’s two nurseries – including four-year-old twins Woody and Gisele Saunders.
Their mum, Alison Saunders, said: “Woody and Gisele had a wonderful time being models for the day and they were both quite the stars on the catwalk.
“We heard about the event from our nursery and really wanted to get involved – not only because it had so many fun things for children to do but also because it was raising money for a brilliant local charity.”
