The partner of William Robert Spiller, whose body was found at an address at Lacey Court on Stedman Road in Southbourne, has paid tribute to him.
Glenys Molyneaux, said: “Will was only with us for two years but he became a much loved member of our family. He will be greatly missed.
“Our loss is going to be very hard to bear but we are left with some wonderful memories of a true gentleman with a big heart, a lovely sense of humour and a loving nature.
“Please respect our privacy at this sad time and allow us to grieve in peace.
“Many thanks to Dorset Police and the liaison support team who have been, and continue to be, there for us.”
Two days’ after the body was found, a 26-year-old man was arrested in the West Midlands area and subsequently charged with murder.
At the inquest, which has been adjourned, evidence was heard that 48-year-old William Robert Spiller from Bournemouth was found dead at his home address on 17 June 2013. The cause of death was unascertained pending further laboratory tests.
