Triumphant return for Broadstone Christmas Parade
The parade on Saturday 6 December featured motorbikes, floats, schoolchildren and, of course, Santa.
The Broadstone Christmas Parade returned this year, after being cancelled at the last minute in 2024.
The afternoon parade on Saturday 6 December featured cars, motorbikes, floats, costumed characters and groups of children from nearby schools and youth groups. And, of course, Santa himself was part of the parade.
Bucket collections raised a total of £715 for two local charities: Dorset Cancer Care Foundation and Teddy 20, which supports children and young people with cancer.
The Broadstone at Christmas Committee said: “The participants of the parade were absolutely fantastic, and the costumes and decorations were great.
“Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the event, it was truly wonderful seeing this community come out in full force to get into the festive spirit. Thank you to the marshals and volunteers that have helped keep today safe and enjoyable for all. Huge thank you to the members of the Broadstone at Christmas committee for dedicating their time in pulling this off.”
