Local TV celebrity Debra Stephenson, star of Bad Girls, Coronation Street and The Impressions Show, will be joining the Mayor and Mayoress of Poole in opening Lewis-Manning Hospice’s first ever Village Show and Craft Fayre By The Sea this Sunday (7 July).
The actress is a big supporter of the charity, which has a hospice in Lilliput, Poole offering free specialist palliative nursing care to hundreds of local people living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.
The charity is also delighted to confirm that BBC Radio Solent’s ‘Drivetime’ presenter Steve Harris will also be helping to judge the dog show at 2pm, as well as a selection of competitions for best Victoria sponge, cup cakes, jam, chutney, floral arrangement, photography, and jewellery.
