Two arrested following Poole collision
The collision took place on Monday 15 December in Canford Heath Road, near to the junction with Plantation Road, and witnesses are sought.
Two men were arrested following a collision in Canford Heath Road between a black Ford Ranger and a silver Volkswagen Golf on Monday 15 December which left a man in a serious condition.
Dorset Police received a report at 11.22pm of the collision in Canford Heath Road, near to the junction with Plantation Road, and emergency services attended with road closures being put in place.
A passenger from the Golf, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were believed to be life-threatening.
The driver of the Golf, a man in his 30s, was also taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be serious. He was arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
The driver of the Ford, a man in his 40s from Poole, was also arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
Sergeant Dave Cotterill, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident to establish the full circumstances of the collision.
“I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police, as well as any motorists who may have captured relevant dashcam footage, to please make contact with us.
“Finally, I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding during the road closures.”
